Born in 1974 in Switzerland, Ace is definitely one of the most popular european DJ`s... The turkish rooted Swiss man, multi lingualy skilled (6 languages), titled DMC Champion by several times, features with his scratches on the Germany`s top MC TORCH album, owns his own radio show in France and has signed New York’s legendary label AV8, why then stop in the good old Swizz when a "Basler in the heart" can just take over the world? ACE is also a successful Producer: The B-side of the legendary Party Kings Partybreak EP is still a pro club DJ secret tip in the whole Europe. The second and the third part of "Party Kings"-releases allowed ACE to strongly mark his name in the scene and breakthrough the business. He is also the second European after DL LBR (Paris) to sign a deal with the legendary AV8 Records in New York where he promoted his new party breaks serie „King Size" for the first time to the public worldwide. The son of turkish immigrants keeps a musical open mind and knows no personal musical limits. He presented his finest funk through "Funk You All" and had the whole Europe b-boy scene grooving on "Earn to Burn". Later, he succeeded in breaking the the clubbing ladies hearts with his "Fame Club Mix", while simulteanously hip hop heads succumbed to his "Underground Mix" The common work with mix tape king Tony Touch (Rock Steady Crew/NYC) produced "don’t TOUCH the ACE", his best hit so far. ACE is a bit of an all rounder and likes involve himself in unconventional projects such as "Hörspiel Projekt", produced by DRS 1, the national swiss (classic music based) channel. He also created a dance project in association with the Dance School Theather Basel and invested himself in creating the music for the play and in 2002, did a another concert project with Brassbandorchester and Operette this time for the very known Swiss Expo 02. Those are a only few of his unusal creations and moves. Among many others, such as variety and quality, his individual trademarks are definitely ambition and humour."I wish to achieve in my career what Bush has achieved in his".
